What you will do as the Operations Lead Develop and implement IT operations strategies aligned with the agency’s business goals and government priorities. Lead incident, problem, and risk management processes, ensuring minimal disruption to services. Undertake regular systems monitoring, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting to prevent downtime. Provide regular updates to senior leadership, highlighting key performance metrics, operational risks, and improvement initiatives. About you In order to succeed in the role, you will have: Relevant skills and demonstrated experience relating to the key responsibilities of this position (as described above). Demonstrated experience leading and managing teams in an IT operations environment with a proven track record. The ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks. Demonstrated experience with incident management, change management, and system monitoring tools and processes with a proven ability to analyse complex IT problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. Proven experience in building and maintaining working relationships with all stakeholders, ability to collaborate across teams and lead teams as required. Skills in observation and monitoring of software systems and familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Dynamics 365. Demonstrated experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL.
