Primary Details Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeLocation: Melbourne Type: Permanent, full time Hybrid role, Happy to talk flexible working The opportunity In this role as the Operations Lead you will be responsible for providing specialist advice, direction and technical support to the Lenders Mortgage Insurance operations and underwriting team. Your new role Suited towards a seasoned Credit Assessor or Quality Consultant, you will join process improvement initiatives to support business transformation and simplification across LMI Operations (UW team) and Underwriting. This means you will be hands on in a multi facet role, completing application reviews, reporting and interacting with our internal and external stakeholders. In addition to the above you will also: Deliver operational excellence through the deployment of improvement initiatives. Undertake process reengineering techniques to establish business improvement solutions across the organisation. The Operations Lead will focus on people development by assisting the Senior Manager – Operations with development needs analysis and training. A key contact relating to escalations (operational or underwriting) to develop technical understanding of the relevant process and resolve issues as they arise. About you You will possess extensive experience within Banking or Lenders Mortgage Insurance products along with: Communication, analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills. Experience within home loan/mortgage lending market. Proven capability to engage with internal stakeholders and flexibility with internal and external stakeholder engagement. Strong customer service mindset and adaptability to change. Highly organised and can manage concurrent projects with an ability to multitask across priorities. Credit assessment experience with an understanding of the lending process, credit policy and procedures.
