GKR Transport are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Operations Supervisor to join our team in managing daily yard operations and fleet coordination. This is a hands on role based in our Regency Park depot, where you will ensure the efficient loading and unloading of trucks, the safe operation of equipment, and the smooth coordination of local pickup and delivery runs. If you are experienced in yard operations and fleet management, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.Key Responsibilities: Supervise day to day yard duties, ensuring smooth and efficient operations including the loading and unloading of trucks and trailers Work alongside the admin team to manage and coordinate local pickup and delivery runs Ensure that all equipment, including forklifts and trucks are well-maintained and safe to operate Schedule regular maintenance for forklifts and road vehicles to ensure minimal downtime Monitor and manage the local fleet to ensure timely deliveries and operational efficiency Manifest loads accurately and ensure all required paperwork is completed and up to date Coordinate onforwarding with carrier partners Maintain a safe and productive work environment for all yard personnel Use your forklift licence to operate equipment when necessary and supervise other staff About You: To excel in this role, you will need: Proven experience in yard operations and fleet management Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Forklift licence (Essential) Experience in scheduling and coordinating local pick ups and deliveries or a very detailed knowledge of the local Adelaide area A focus on maintaining equipment and ensuring safety standards Ability to monitor and track the performance of the fleet to ensure efficiency and punctuality Why Join GKR Transport?
