Description: Orthoptist for Pediatric Optometry Clinic Join Our Team at Kiddies Eye Care and Make a Difference in Children's Vision Health Position: Orthoptist Location: Kiddies Pediatric Optometry Clinic Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Orthoptist to join our thriving Pediatric Optometry Clinics. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining the vision health of children through comprehensive eye care services. If you have a passion for working with children and a commitment to excellence, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities: Conduct vision screenings at schools to identify and address vision problems early. Devise plans and provide vision therapy to help children improve their visual skills and performance. Perform pre-scans and preliminary assessments to assist optometrists in their examinations. Assist with contact lens fittings, ensuring comfort and proper usage for young patients. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Educate patients and their families about eye health and preventive care. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Administrative and front of house assistance to other team members. Qualifications: Degree in Orthoptics. Experience working with children in a clinical setting is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
