PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT - Residential Aged Care Position Details: • Casual Position - AM, PM, Night • Mont Albert Location close to Public transport • Generous Salary Packaging Options – increase your take home pay! As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will provide excellent care to our residents at mecwacare Simon Price Centre, a one hundred bed facility. Your compassionate personality and positive attitude will assist you in providing an optimal level of dignity, comfort and quality of life for our care recipients. What you bring: Certificate III in Aged Care or Certificate III in Individual Support. Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in Aged Care. Availability to work AM and PM shifts on weekdays and weekends. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to older people and their families. Ability to understand and implement resident care plans. Ability to identify problems and a clear understanding of when to alert immediate supervisors. Demonstrated time management and multi-tasking skills. Pro-active and dedicated approach to deliver best practice care. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all matters. Able to demonstrate flexibility to workplace demands and a teamwork attitude.
