Personal Care Assistant (PCA) - Residential Aged Care PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT - Residential Aged Care Part-Time and Casual positions available - AM and PM Shifts Bendigo Location (52 Beds Residential facility) Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging benefits. As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) you will deliver exceptional care to residents at mecwacare's Long Gully 52 – bed Residential Facility. Your compassionate personality and positive attitude will assist you in providing an optimal level of dignity, comfort, and quality of life for our care recipients.What you bring: Certificate III in Aged Care or Certificate III in Individual Support. Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in Aged Care. Availability to work AM and PM shifts weekday and weekends. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to older people and their families. Ability to understand and implement resident care plans. Ability to identify problems and a clear understanding of when to alert immediate supervisors. Demonstrated time management and multi-tasking skills. Pro-active and dedicated approach to deliver best practice care. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all matters. Able to demonstrate flexibility to workplace demands and a teamwork attitude.
