About the Role: As the Operations Supervisor, you will have a strong understanding of the industry's operations and possess the ability to adapt quickly to changes. Being tech-savvy and eager to learn new systems will be essential, as well as managing stress effectively while maintaining safety and efficiency. Your role will require effective communication skills, both written and spoken, to foster strong relationships with your team, Delivery Partners, and the Station Manager. Additionally, you will oversee parcel returns, driver booking, and route optimisation, ensuring that safety standards and quality service are consistently upheld. Please note - This is a full-time fortnightly rotating roster with hours between 11:00 am – 10:00 pm: Week 2: Thursday, Friday, Saturday Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Station Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to parcel returns, driver booking, optimisation of routes, and monitoring of existing processes and procedures. Maintain safety & security of the premises & people. In collaboration with the Station Manager, participate in the development of processes and procedures. Real-time tracking of deliveries and, if necessary, finding practical solutions to ensure they are on time and properly delivered. Keep accurate and thorough notes in daily logbooks. Develop and maintain solid working relationships with employees and Delivery Partners. Provide ongoing support, coaching & leadership to all team members. Implement training or action plans when required. Always maintain a professional & high-quality service-oriented environment. Key Requirements: 3+ years of experience in a leadership position, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in the transportation and freight industry is preferred. Strong ability to adapt to changes and problem-solve in a dynamic setting. Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn new and evolving systems. Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
