About the role Warrnambool Community Health Centre is looking to fill a vacancy for a qualified Registered Nurse to be the Care Coordinator for Paediatrics and Asthma. This is a proactive role that works in the community with children and families to manage symptoms through early intervention methods. Position Overview This is a Fixed term, Part time position 48 hours per fortnight The successful candidate will be part of the Hospital Admission Risk Program (HARP) team and will work closely with the Respiratory Nurse. The position commences in April 2025 and concludes in February 2026 Community Health Nurse Salary $107,390.40 pro rata. What you bring The successful applicant will have current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, demonstrated competency in paediatric Nursing and management of children with chronic health conditions. Applicants must have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels while providing high-quality nursing care. An understanding of the community and a proactive flexible approach to improving and assisting children and families would be an advantage. Evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development will be highly regarded.
