Part-Time Finance Manager | North Sydney Based SME | $150K + Super (pro rata) Part-Time Finance Manager | North Sydney Based SME | 3 Days Per Week | $150K + Super (Pro Rata) TalentWeb is recruiting for a growing media agency seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee its financial operations on a part-time basis (3 days per week). This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function while contributing to the strategic direction of the business.The Role Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, the Finance Manager will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, compliance, and risk assessment. This position is ideal for a commercially astute finance professional, who is comfortable running the finance function in a stand-alone capacity and is seeking a flexible role within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities Running the day-to-day financial administration of the business including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and banking. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, ASIC requirements, and statutory obligations (IAS, BAS, FBT, etc.). Oversee contract management and risk assessment, ensuring financial and legal obligations are met. Manage cash flow and liquidity, maintaining financial stability and operational efficiency. Liaise with external accountants and service providers, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Identify and implement process improvements, enhancing financial efficiency and control. About You 5+ years’ experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within an SME or services environment. CPA or CA qualification. Strong technical expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and risk management. Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software. A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. What’s on Offer Part-time flexibility – 3 days / 21 hours per week.
