Pathways Project Lead - Remote / Work from Home No To Violence About us No to Violence is Australia’s peak body for individuals and organisations that work with men that use violence. We provide training, sector development and advocacy across the sector. We operate the Men’s Referral Service, providing a counselling service and referral pathways directly to men who use violence. As a pro-feminist organisation, women and children are at the centre of what we do - by ending men’s use of family violence, families, individuals, and communities are safer. About the role Role Type: 12 months fixed term contract, Full time hours Location: This role can be based in any state or territory across Australia Working in a nationally-focussed Advocacy, Policy and Research team, the Pathways Project Lead will work closely with the project’s reference group, No to Violence’s members and key partners, as well as internal teams, to deliver an innovative project to develop a new landscape of interventions to end family violence. It's a rare opportunity to fundamentally reshape how we approach intervention with people who use violence. The role isn't just about researching the current system - it's about rethinking and redesigning the landscape of interventions. The key unique aspects are: Systems-level innovation: You get to map out and potentially transform the journey of how people who use violence interact with services and support systems. This isn't just tweaking existing programs - it's about identifying new pathways and interventions. Direct policy influence: The role has a clear line of sight to actual system change, with direct opportunities to influence political and policy decision-makers. Diverse capability integration: The role offers a unique blend of research expertise, stakeholder engagement and policy development work. It's an opportunity to combine analytical capabilities with relationship-building skills to drive real change. Ground-breaking work: The focus on mapping journeys of people using violence and identifying innovative intervention pathways is relatively unexplored territory in the DFV sector. The role offers a chance to be at the forefront of developing evidence-based solutions that could fundamentally change how we approach domestic and family violence prevention at a national level. For someone interested in creating systemic change, this represents an opportunity to shape the future of intervention programs in Australia. About you Strong qualitative research skills essential, especially experience with using methodologies suitable for complex phenomena. Experience delivering high-quality research that synthesises and analyses information from a range of data sources. Well-developed stakeholder relationship skills, including a proven track-record of successfully facilitating consultations with a broad-range of people and organisations. Ability to lead high-quality research, including creative problem solving in areas where evidence is hard to obtain. Excellent written communication skills to produce social impact through high-quality position papers, reports, presentations and other messaging materials. Proactive and solutions-focused approach to project management with the proven ability to deliver excellent work within deadlines. Collaborative and adaptable team player with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team. Qualifications in a social science, or other relevant discipline.
