Are you passionate about supporting children, young people, and families? Join us as a PSP Manager Casework and play a pivotal role in delivering life-changing services within the Permanency Support Program (PSP). You’ll lead a dynamic team, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for children in care. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable children while fostering a supportive, collaborative work environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective, quality services. Provide supervision, training, and mentorship to Case Workers and Carer Support Workers, while promoting best practice standards. Champion trauma-informed and strength-based frameworks in casework practice. Oversee the development and implementation of case plans that prioritise children’s safety, wellbeing, and permanency. Support staff in managing complex and challenging situations. Facilitate smooth transitions for children, ensuring safety and stability. Collaborate with stakeholders and communities to enhance service delivery. Support and develop partnerships to improve outcomes for children and families. Ensure cultural safety in service delivery, especially when working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities. Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory standards related to child protection, casework, and carer support. Monitor financial resources and budgets to ensure efficient use of funds in line with program goals. Oversee the recruitment, retention, and training of carers, ensuring they meet required standards. Provide on-call after-hours support as part of a rotating duty roster.Degree in Social Work, Social Science, Psychology, or related field. Minimum 5 years’ experience in casework or OOHC. Proven experience in team leadership, management, and supervision. Strong knowledge of child protection, out-of-home care, and cultural competency. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Ability to work flexibly, including on-call after-hours as part of a rotating roster. Valid Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance, NSW Drivers’ Licence, and access to a vehicle with comprehensive insurance Experience in leading child protection or permanency planning programs.
