Personal Care Worker/Assistant in Nursing Are you tired of working for a big National Company where you are just a number? Do you want to be heard and valued and paid a good rate? We are a small local-based Home Care Provider on the Gold Coast looking for staff who want to make a difference in an elder’s life. We are looking for Home Care Support Workers who genuinely love their job, show commitment, have a great attitude, are willing to learn new things, and, most importantly, listen and understand what the customer wants. Job Types : Multiple roles, Casual with the ability to convert to Permanent part-time or full-time. Flexibility from 10 hours to 38 hours a week. Duties Include : Social support: taking clients out to the shops, the bank, a café or out for a walk. Transport: taking clients to appointments or respite. Food preparation. Respite care: assisting with exercising, dressing, toileting, and supervising the self-administration of medication. Personal care: showering and assisting with other personal grooming. Domestic assistance. About you: You will need to have a certificate 3/4 in Aged Care or equivalent. Ability to obtain First aid and CPR certificates. Have a well-maintained insured vehicle and a smartphone. You will be requested to undertake background checks such as criminal history, demerit point/driving history and reference checks. Applicants will be physically fit, have good communication and technology skills and be reliable. Have Australian work rights. Additional Benefits: Annual bonus. Referral Bonus. Penalty rates.
