Our fantastic team is on the search for a hardworking, passionate and experienced permanent full-time Resort Manager to join our team. The Resort Manager will report directly to the Operational Supervisor. The Resort Manager is to perform and supervise duties in technical animal care, office routines and manage customer relations. The Resort Manager must maintain the boarding facility’s appearance by ensuring general housekeeping to provide a comfortable boarding environment with quality in a professional and timely manner and always comply with Health and Safety requirements. The position will include but is not limited to: Overseeing all resort staff on following policies and procedures Ensuring the well-being of pets through detailed attention to their feedings, behaviours, exercise, cleanliness and comfort as per the client’s requests Creating a positive and memorable client experience by exceeding customer expectations and actively increasing customer loyalty. Implementing new procedures and discussing strategies with the leadership team Staff recruitment and training Maintaining efficient staffing and rostering Conducting staff performance reviews as required Ensuring WHS requirements are implemented and abided by Regular assessment of the property and reporting maintenance requirements Financial reports including completing daily budget numbers Stock ordering and maintaining stocktake Essential pre-requisites for these roles are: 2-3 years of experience in the leadership of a team Superior customer service skills including face-to-face and written communication skills Commitment to work weekends and holiday periods (inc. Xmas day and New Year) Full Australian working rights Current driver's license and vehicle access A proactive and ‘can do’ attitude with strong focus on ensuring the highest level of customer service, pet welfare and facility cleanliness. Desirable skills and experience include: Qualification in Companion Animal Services (or similar) OR large animal/farm experience Dog training and/or behavioural knowledge Proficiency in the ability to learn reservation programs and new operating systems Aptitude for training and learning Please include a cover letter outlining why you are the right candidate for this position alongside your resume.
