Job Description We are excited to announce that Acciona has been awarded a major wharf infrastructure project at Port Hedland for Pilbara Ports Authority. This marks the first stage in the development of the Lumsden Point General Cargo Facility and Logistics Hub (LCGF), a transformative multi-user facility designed to: Enable the export of critical minerals. Support the import of renewable energy infrastructure. Facilitate the import/export of general cargo. Accommodate the import of bulk liquids such as fuel and chemicals. To help us deliver this project, we are looking for a Plant Supervisor to take responsibility for the Procurement, Inspection and Supervision of Plant and Equipment for the project. The successful candidate will be required to work in Port Hedland on a FIFO basis on a two week on, one week off roster. Key accountabilities for the position: Manage all site plant operations including planning and plant selection. Manage plant maintenance and inspections, ensuring preventative and breakdown maintenance is carried out in a timely manner which ensures the integrity of the machine is maintained and availability is maximised. Ensure effective and responsive management of plant through managing the plant fleet and project assets to ensure plant availability. Ensure safety & plant compliance standards are met across the project. Liaise with the Construction Leads, Discipline Manager, Superintendents & Supervisors to maximise efficiency of resources. Manage the deliverables in the Plant Management Plan. Implement and maintain procedures to achieve high performance in safety, quality and environment. Ensure strict adherence to all statutory regulations. Required Skills and Competencies Ideally you will be experienced in supporting large infrastructure projects and managing the planning, implementation, and maintenance activities for a large fleet of plant. HV license and Plant license/s. Strong understanding of plant and equipment operations, maintenance practices, and safety regulations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
