MULTIPLE 6 + 6 MONTH CONTRACTS Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, some WFH Ability to obtain Baseline security clearance Our client, a well-funded Federal Government entity focused on helping the disability community, is seeking multiple Portfolio Directors to join their team in April. Responsibilities: An advanced understanding of business context and the connection between work responsibilities and broader Agency strategic goals. Independently leading an assigned program of work, including the establishment and application of quality assurance, governance, and risk assessment processes. Utilising strong problem-solving skills and the ability to connect analysis to real-world problems to design statistical and mathematical models that respond to business issues. Leadership and oversight of a professional/specialist team of staff ranging from APS 4 to EL2, including setting strategic direction and priorities (with an awareness of broader Branch, Divisional, and Agency priorities), providing technical guidance, and staff development. Criteria: Tertiary qualifications in Actuarial Studies, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or other relevant equivalent qualifications. Strong leadership experience and managing geographically dispersed staff. High level of experience/responsibility in the management of work projects.
