We are looking for an experienced, senior level program lead to join Suncorp’s specialist Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) team, responsible for delivering the Suncorp D&I Plan across Australia & Aotearoa (New Zealand). As a program lead, you will report to Suncorp’s head of D&I and design and deliver initiatives to ensure our people, customers and communities all benefit from a fairer, more inclusive culture. This is a varied and exciting role which will see you take ownership of your own strategic, intersectional focus areas and collaborate across all of our business brands. What you’ll do End to end design and delivery of projects aligned to our intersectional D&I strategic focus areas across the entire employee lifecycle. Manage high profile and fast paced programs of work related to inclusive culture build, workforce composition, strategic targets, and system change. Work closely with our Senior Leaders, Business Partnering and Strategic Advice areas to help craft bespoke solutions to ‘wicked problems’ such as the gender pay gap, racism in the workplace, identifying inherent bias within systems, and creating safe, inclusive environments in a multi-brand, Trans-Tasman context. Provide guidance for best practice inclusion from your recognised thought leadership across a wide range of diverse demographics. What you’ll bring Previous experience in a similar Diversity & Inclusion role at a senior level, with an essential requirement of a minimum of 6 years experience in Diversity & Inclusion specifically. Demonstrated experience in program management, with the ability to prioritise across multiple projects and adapt to changing landscapes. Demonstrated experience in analysing quantitative and qualitative data to provide meaningful insights that inform decision-making and strategic solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail and the ability to present at a senior level. Ability to influence, engage and manage conflict at all stakeholder levels. Curious and critical thinking to explore new ideas and improve ways of working. Intermediate Microsoft 365 Suite skills, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Previous experience working in large or complex organisations.
