Our client, a leading Australian construction firm, specialises in delivering infrastructure across various sectors, including education, commercial, public, and industrial projects. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the timelines of commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The role requires the application of effective project management methodologies and tools to engage the right contractors, ensuring the creation of innovative, high-quality built environment designs.Key Responsibilities Oversee the creation and execution of detailed project plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies to ensure timely project delivery. Facilitate collaboration across teams and stakeholders, negotiating inclusive and accessible solutions to meet project objectives. Develop and implement systems, procedures, and project schedules, tracking progress and managing changes effectively. Actively drive change, influencing stakeholders to support and engage in the project, overcoming barriers and generating enthusiasm for the project's progress. Qualifications & Experience Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in the construction or A&D industries. In-depth knowledge of the property industry, with senior-level project management experience in large, complex organisations. A portfolio of successfully completed projects and proven experience in stakeholder management to achieve project outcomes. Effective problem-solving abilities, sourcing relevant information to offer practical and sustainable solutions.
