Exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering an ambitious joint venture Vibrant location (near Central Station) and flexible working arrangements HEO 7 Step 1 $74.30 per hour plus Superannuation About the Sydney Quantum Academy The Sydney Quantum Academy is a joint venture between The University of Sydney, The University of New South Wales, Macquarie University and University of Technology Sydney, to establish Sydney (and Australia) as a global destination for talent, investment, and innovation in relation to quantum technology and the future quantum economy. Collaborating with academia, industry, and government, SQA will harness Sydney’s collective quantum expertise to develop diverse talent and a globally recognised quantum ecosystem. About the opportunity Project manage and deliver key events and activities for school and university students, stakeholder engagement, project planning and reporting. Develop resources and materials for promotion and communication. Coordinate and execute contracts/invoicing. Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive and accurate project plans that ensure consistency and alignment with project objectives. Efficiently coordinate the logistical aspects of multiple projects, while effectively managing project teams' performance and resource allocation. Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with diverse internal and external project stakeholders, while implementing strategic communication plans to ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged. About you Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant work experience in a related field. Experience monitoring and tracking budgets and expenditure. Experience managing diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide and diverse range of people. The ability to work autonomously. Demonstrated ability to make sound and practical judgement when dealing with clients, contractors and staff members to avoid delays with maintenance and rectification works, and to meet expected deadlines thereby ensuring client satisfaction. Excellent organisational skills with experience in the provision of administrative support. Sponsorship / work rights for Australia Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This role requires valid work rights for Australia.
