We are looking for a Project Engineer / Planner to join our construction planning team. The role will involve a widespread variety of infrastructure and building projects, covering project stages from early feasibility studies to completion of construction. Best part of the job is the flexibility of a hybrid workplace - work from home and sometimes on site / office - based. The Role You will be responsible for producing schedules/programmes using building logic and a variety of planning software including Primavera P6, MS Project, Powerproject, and Primavera P6. By applying your understanding of building work practices and on-site conditions to client programs, you will be compiling construction phasing diagrams, time location plans and other visual techniques to communicate project phasing and site logistics. You will be required to produce construction planning reports to explain programmes, phasing, risks, opportunities and assumptions. Ideally we are looking for someone with relevant experience and an understanding of construction logistics, methods and issues. The ability to present to clients and project teams is essential, along with the ability to develop relationships with other planners/schedulers within Feel DX, as well as designers, visualizers and project managers, in order to promote, develop and support the firm’s construction planning capability and services. About you… A good understanding of modern construction methods and constructability issues; A good understanding of construction logistics; Conversant with planning and scheduling techniques and reasonably competent with scheduling software; Have an interest in using new technology to improve communication of construction planning material; Be self-motivated, proactive and flexible with regard to types of projects and responsibilities; Demonstrate exceptional time management skills specifically relating to multiple stakeholder management; Ability to work in a team environment – to accept and delegate work as required which is critical in a consulting environment. Qualifications: Professional qualification, Degree / Diploma qualified in Engineering, Building or Construction Project Management. What happens next?
