The role is competitively remunerated and offers access to not-for-profit salary sacrificing up to $18,500 per annum. We have a genuine, caring and positive culture and working environment and provide access to further training and career development opportunities.About The Role The Project Support Officer, Fundraising will play a critical role in supporting the Head of Fundraising in executing all flagship events, optimising our fundraising efforts, ensuring smooth operation of fundraising platforms, and assisting our supporters, donors, and internal stakeholders. The role will provide professional, streamlined administrative support to the Fundraising function of the organisation.The Role Will Be Responsible For The Following Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing fundraising campaigns and help maintain donor databases. Support the Head of Fundraising in identifying and researching potential donors, sponsors, and partners. Assist with the coordination of logistics for fundraising events and the preparation of event materials. Work with the Head of Fundraising to engage and coordinate volunteers, liaise with suppliers, and manage event-related documentation. Act as a point of contact for donors, sponsors, and partners and collaborate with the communications team to ensure timely and effective promotion of fundraising campaigns and events. Maintain accurate records of fundraising activities, donations, and expenses and assist with preparing regular reports to track fundraising performance. Support the team in monitoring and analysing fundraising metrics, assist with budgeting and forecasting for events and campaigns, track expenses, and ensure compliance with RCA’s financial policies. Provide general administrative support to the Head of Fundraising, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and preparing presentations. Coordinate internal meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes as required. About You We are seeking a highly accomplished and experienced Project Support Officer who is passionate about the organisation's mission and committed to positively supporting people with rare and less common cancers.You will have a positive attitude and approach that reflect RCA’s missions and values. You will be enthusiastic, energetic, and highly motivated.Skills With highly effective organisational skills, you will be proactive and able to look ahead to pre-empt upcoming needs and assistance, manage upwards, and provide superior administrative support and assistance to deliver exceptional results. Ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience:Prior experience in project support, administrative, or fundraising roles, preferably within a not-for-profit organisation. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems and fundraising platforms. Time management to balance multiple projects, responsibilities, and deadlines. Collaboration skills to build strong relationships with community, volunteers, and stakeholders.
