Quality Control Site Engineer - Transmission Line - Billion Dollar Project Elecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km transmission line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border. This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW. Construction of EnergyConnect is underway in various locations across the project area. The Role: Elecnor Australia is offering exciting opportunities for Site Engineer to join the team on-site in rural NSW, working on a 14/7 roster.Flights and site accommodation is provided. In the role of Site Engineer, you will contribute to the process of QC inspections and reporting for assembly, erection, stringing, or other transmission line initiatives as required. Primary Accountabilities: QC Inspections QC Reporting Participate in real-time monitoring during construction to ensure adherence to design and construction specifications Skills & Experience: Degree in Engineering Thorough understanding of Australian OHS legislative requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills White Card (General Construction Induction Card) Driver’s License We’re building a diverse workforce.
