Finncare is a highly regarded provider of Aged Care, Retirement Living and Home and Community Care currently operating a 61-bed ageing in place facility located in Thornlands, southeast of Brisbane. We are progressive and have a philosophy of restorative care with a justifiably proud history of delivering service excellence to the Australian Finnish and Australian community. What will you do? Coordinate and facilitate all Education for care and nursing staff of the organisation in consultation with the Clinical Care Manager and the Home Support Services Manager and Human Resources Manager. Manage, chair and document all quality meetings for the organisation Maintain the organisational training and meeting calendar Maintain all Continuous Improvement Plans in conjunction with the appropriate department head Completing audits as directed and compiling reports to be provided to department heads and management This position is responsible for successful Accreditation outcomes for both Finncare Aged Care Facility and Finncare Home Support Services and will assist these teams to achieve successful accreditation standards Assist with accreditation requirements in conjunction with the General Manager, Heads of Departments, and all staff Plan, implement and review individual & facility wide quality activities and documents in accordance with assessed needs and legislation Plan, develop, implement and review quality programs Prepare and collate annual client and staff satisfaction surveys (MOA) All other tasks as directed by the General Manager About you: To be considered for this role you will require: Proven experience, knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Standards and the Aged Care Act Registered Nurse for Clinical oversight, current APRHA registration Demonstrated experience in Quality frameworks Minimum Certificate IV Training and Assessment High level of interpersonal, team leadership and negotiation skills essential The position requires personal qualities of honesty, innovative thinking and an ability to create a supportive workplace for all staff Dual language proficiency in Finnish and English will be highly regarded The successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal history statutory declaration and undergo a National Police Check. All aged care employees must meet the Aged Care mandatory vaccination requirements or be willing to obtain.
