We are committed to our vision of 'better health services for the people of western Sydney and beyond' and to the delivery of health care or related services in line with our core values of collaboration, openness, respect and empowerment.What you'll be doing The Westmead Hospital Quality and Accreditation Manager is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership and support to the Divisions and facility lead/s for all health facility accreditation programs initiated through Westmead Hospital. The position is also responsible for liaising and coordinating with Auburn Hospital in relation to quality and accreditation activities.How to Apply Apply online by submitting your resume and addressing the criteria listed below by providing examples that demonstrate your ability before the closing date. Selection Criteria: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing quality, safety and risk management program, including previous experience in managing and/or coordination of National and State based accreditation programs. Knowledge of NSW Health patient safety and quality in health care policies and program. Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of quality improvement projects using a range of Quality Improvement methodologies such as CPI and Six Sigma in a complex organisation and/or across multiple services. Experience in managing accreditation/review processes such as EQuIP and National Standards incorporating multiple disciplines. Well-developed communication skills both written and verbal, including sound experience in the preparation of reports, briefs and educational materials, with advanced computing skills using a suite of software. Proven capacity to work with a diverse range of stakeholder groups to ensure the effective delivery of patient safety and quality objectives.
