Full Time Continuing role for a dedicated Senior Manager for Curriculum, Accreditation and Admissions Lead dedicated teams whilst implementing change and adhering to university policies and procedures Base Salary $150,628 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Faculty of Medicine and Health is seeking an innovative and experienced professional to join our team as Senior Manager, Curriculum, Accreditation and Admissions. This role oversees a critical portfolio area in the faculty and is responsible for leading the faculty’s curriculum management, accreditation, governance and quality assurance needs, providing high-level policy advice. The Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing the administration and compilation of academic content and materials prepared by academic staff for programs of study, including documentation required for the complex curriculum academic approval process, and maintenance of curriculum and degree program information in university systems and publications. Your key responsibilities will be to: Provide expert support and high-level leadership advice to the Faculty Leadership Group in the conceptualisation, development and review of academic programs of study including in the reform of degrees, majors, specialisations, international and professional accreditation and affiliations, and associated resolutions. Lead the design, establishment and implementation of a coordinated, robust and transparent quality assurance framework for education in the faculty that encourages best practice and innovation, supports the faculty’s strategic objectives, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. Manage the faculty’s response to external quality assurance audits. Proactively identify risks and opportunities and, as necessary, take or recommend appropriate mitigating action to ensure Faculty compliance. Lead course review and accreditation requirements of the faculty and engage with internal and external stakeholders. Drive the faculty’s collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders, including DVCE Portfolio, Faculty Services, Academic Model Team, Global Mobility and Student Recruitment and academic leaders. Generate reports and make recommendations for academic decision-makers on the faculty’s curriculum and degree offerings, including success in meeting Threshold Learning Outcomes, and the appropriateness of graduate outcomes. Significant experience with online educational platforms and learning management systems. Make informed and considered decisions by thinking critically and comprehensively to progress and enhance outcomes for the University. Significant influencing and negotiation skills. High level of organisation and time management skills. Build networks, model collaboration and work effectively with others to encourage inclusivity and impact.
