Charities in Australia work extremely hard to support vulnerable populations, but often their prehistoric websites & legacy systems let them down. We’re here to give charities the support they need to leverage technology, connect with purpose-driven professionals, and help them achieve their goals. Our main program is a free tech volunteer recruitment service eligible to ACNC registered charities anywhere in Australia. So far we've matched 22 charities with over 30 different volunteers for all kinds of tech projects (web design, SEO, software consulting, marketing, and more). Now we're looking for our own volunteer that wants to get involved at the ground level! We're growing and would love a pair of extra hands to keep us organised and support our recruitment operations as we take things to the next level. tekFoundation is a charity that blends the social impact, tech, and recruitment worlds together, so we get that interested volunteers will come from all sorts of backgrounds! We can't wait to meet you. Here's a few examples of how you might be helping on an average week: Taking new volunteers and charities through our onboarding process Creating and posting job ads for new volunteer roles Scheduling screening calls with candidates Creating and editing comms templates Updating our new CRM Managing and updating Trello board with tasks and due dates Creating and editing internal and external operational documentation Supporting event planning and execution Attending events and representing tekFoundation Commitment: Volunteer is ideally in Sydney so we can get to know each other in person but open to fully remote for the right volunteer! 10 flexible hours a week around your work/life schedule.
