Contributes directly to Libraries Tasmania strategic directions, planning and policy development as a member of the Libraries Tasmania Leadership Group. This is a Department built entirely for children and young people and their communities. Our ultimate goal is to work together to ensure that every child and young person in Tasmania is known, safe, well and learning. The child is at the centre of everything we do and the way we do it. Duties Responsible for the development, implementation and management of library, information, reading, learning and adult and family literacy services, programs and initiatives within a designated region together with assigned state-wide responsibilities. Contributes directly to Libraries Tasmania strategic directions, planning and policy development as a member of the Libraries Tasmania Leadership Group. Period of Appointment Ongoing, ASAP Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full-time or part-time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1.
