They are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Manager to take charge of maintenance operations in Melbourne’s South-East. This is a key leadership role where you will drive best-practice maintenance and reliability initiatives. The Role Reporting to the Manufacturing & Operations Manager , you will be responsible for: Overseeing all maintenance services at one of the company’s largest and most complex sites. Leading a team of 8 directly within the trade team, fostering engagement and professional growth. Identifying and managing asset reliability risks while implementing best-practice maintenance strategies. Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and efficiency. Developing and executing maintenance strategies to meet key KPIs, including OEE, machine reliability, uptime, and OH&S compliance. Your Experience & Skills To be successful in this role, you will have: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or a relevant Trade Qualification , along with proven leadership experience in maintenance teams. Hands-on experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments such as food, beverage, packaging, or building products. A strong track record in developing and implementing proactive and preventative maintenance strategies . Formal training in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies , including 5S, Lean, and/or Six Sigma. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a leadership style that fosters a high-performing team culture. What’s On Offer?
