$76,277 - $83,274 + up to 15.4% Superannuation Campbell Park - ACT The Role The APS 4 Research Ethics Officer is a member of a team responsible for providing secretariat support to the Departments of Defence and Veterans’ Affairs Human Research Ethics Committee (DDVA HREC).This role is the initial point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and is responsible for administrative tasks associated with the review and ongoing monitoring of research proposals and provision of administrative support to committee members.About our Team The Directorate Strategic Clinical Assurance and Ethics is responsible for providing secretariat support to the DDVA HREC. The DDVA HREC conducts ethical reviews of research proposals in accordance with national guidelines, institutional policies, and legislative instruments.Through the conduct of research, the Committee contributes to the joint capabilities of both the Department of Defence and the Department of Veterans' Affairs. This role assists with the facilitation and coordination of relevant administrative tasks.Our Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and collaboratively as an effective team member.
