As such, we are in a period of exciting and significant investment in our Faculty of Medicine and Health and in order to deliver on the University’s ambitious strategic plan, we are seeking a Research Support Assistant (North Precinct) to maintain the research component of the FMH website, which includes up-to-date information on our researchers and their current research activities. The role will collect and classify research publications for display and reporting purposes; assist to administer internal grants and awards schemes; and work closely with the Research Support Lead, Research Support Officers, and Research Administration Officers to ensure a continuity of service, and advice to FMH staff. This position will be based full-time at the Kolling Institute , at our Northern Precinct. Your key responsibilities will be to: assist with the categorisation of publications for reporting purposes support the submission of accurate corporate data and correction of data quality issues in systems, such as IRMA and other Faculty based systems assist researchers with the development and maintenance of their academic profiles maintain records and reporting for the Research Support Unit assist with the organisation of seminars, information sessions, and workshops assist with internal grants and award schemes manage data entry, drafting standard documents, record keeping and updating the FMH website, its content and supporting research materials. About you To be successful in this role, you have: the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work problem solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement, and ability to prioritise workload during busy periods working knowledge of software programs such as Research Profiles Management, IRMA, Sydney Student, and Content Management Systems demonstrated attention to detail in data entry processes.
