Job Description The role Crown Perth Resort is one of the largest and busiest venues in Perth. Our Convention Centre features 3 stylish and sophisticated ballrooms, several contemporary meeting rooms varying in size and style and on-site state of the art technical support. With three award-winning hotels on site encompassing over 1180 rooms, indulgent day spas, world-class restaurants and entertainment, the property is truly a world-class integrated resort. An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced sales professional to join the existing dedicated and successful team at Crown Perth. The Sales Manager - Resort Sales will be responsible for ensuring the Crown Perth hotels and the Events and Conference departments exceed their financial, occupancy and business plan targets along with ensuring the sales team achieve their respective objectives and maximise opportunities for the whole of Crown. This role requires fluency in Amadeus Advanced and Opera to update or change the system requirements for the contracting of business clients, both for hotel bookings and event spaces. Critical to this role is excellent customer service, adherence to Crown’s service standards, and superior interpersonal skills. If this sounds like you, then we can’t wait to hear from you! To be successful in this role you will be required to demonstrate the following: Leadership skills with the ability to manage workflow Extensive experience in hotels, conference venues, and sales within a global company Proven strong commercial track record and evidence of growth in driving a high performing sales team Experience in delivering on sales strategy, business planning, and sales generation Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills Strong customer focus and relationship experience Financial reporting and administrative ability to accurately prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts Strong knowledge of the market with the ability to source and convert sales leads into new business opportunities Additional Information This role requires: Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality or business-related discipline would be advantageous What you can expect from us: On top of exciting career possibilities, we offer better exposure to experiences and learning.
