Rostering and On-Call Coordinator Join Our Team at Blue Iris Support Services Location: Toowoomba Hours: 3 days per week rostering, On-call rotating roster on weekends and weeknights. THE ROLE As a Rostering Assistant and On-Call Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients receive consistent, high-quality care from a team of skilled and compassionate support workers. This dynamic role requires a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with complex mental health needs. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimise staff rosters to align with client preferences, staff availability, and compliance requirements. Respond to after-hours calls to address urgent scheduling issues, including filling shifts due to unplanned leave or emergencies. Work closely with Support Managers, Client Intake, and our HR team. Maintain clear, professional communication with staff and clients, addressing queries and changes promptly. Regularly review and adjust rosters to enhance service efficiency and meet client needs. Required Experience/Qualifications We are seeking a compassionate and organised professional with exceptional interpersonal skills. You will bring: At least 1-2 years in a rostering/scheduling role, within the NDIS preferred in the mental health sector. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and rostering software (Easy Employer preferred). The ability to remain calm under pressure and find solutions to complex rostering challenges. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with staff. Willingness to be on-call outside standard office hours on a rotational basis. Current Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain). Senior First Aid, CPR and QLD Drivers Licence.
