Join Our Safety Compliance Team at National Distribution Services (NDS) (Geelong or Laverton North office locations) About NDS NDS, founded in 2008, is Australia's largest printed media transport and distribution provider, delivering to residential and business locations nationwide. Our specialty is last-mile delivery for FMCG among other customer freight movements. About the Role We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented team member or leader to join our Safety Compliance Team based in Laverton North or Geelong. This role is crucial in ensuring the compliance and safety of our contractor workforce locally and interstate, providing vital support to our branches across Australia by overseeing contractor compliance, vehicle safety, and other compliance management tasks. Ideal Candidate Profile: Passionate about safety and compliance . Strong attention to detail . Ability to work and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Self-driven with strong time management and organisational skills. Key Responsibilities: Compliance Monitoring: Monitor IVMS footage and operational reports to identify and address discrepancies or non-compliance issues. Data Analysis: Interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve operations. Training & Development: Support in delivering training programs and other compliance standards. IVMS Oversight: Monitor and maintain the In-Vehicle Monitoring System (IVMS), manage user access, and assist with system-related projects. Stakeholder Support: Provide administrative and operational support, facilitate information sharing, and respond to stakeholder inquiries promptly. Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Experience in Transport & Logistics is desirable but not essential. Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is desirable but not essential. A Diploma in Work Health & Safety is desirable but not essential. Reliable, proactive, and enthusiastic about learning new tasks. Well-organised with the ability to multi-task efficiently . Strong computer literacy with fast and accurate data entry skills. A great team player , punctual , and highly reliable .
