What you’ll be doing: Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and standards, ensuring all activities are performed safely with proper frameworks and documentation. You’ll be required to be flexible with start times as you’ll need to attend various sites across Western Sydney for subcontractor inductions, toolbox talks, prestart meetings and safety training. Identify, assess, and implement high-risk work processes, including psychosocial hazards. In this role, you will drive Ventia’s Critical Risk Protocols initiatives, deliver targeted training, and actively promote a strong safety culture. Investigate safety incidents and provide recommendations. Promote adherence to SHEQ policies and foster a culture of 'safety and health above all else.' Oversee employee rehabilitation, including Return to Work planning, in collaboration with Ventia specialists. Maintain risk assessments and registers, ensuring proper record management in line with company standards. About you: Certificate IV or Diploma in Workplace, Health and Safety is desirable. Experience in ICAM training, working at heights, and internal auditing are advantageous. Ability to clearly communicate and consult to deliver strategies to ensure compliance, minimise risk, and drive continuous improvement. Ability to work autonomously and build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and technologically savvy.
