We're seeking a Safety & Injury Advisor to play a key role in ensuring best practices in workplace health and safety, injury prevention, and injury management. About the role Support MFG's business objectives and WHS strategic plan Provide high-quality injury management services to employees, including developing and monitoring suitable return to work plans. Manage workers' compensation, including compliance with legislative requirements Offer guidance, advice and coaching to team members and leaders, including ongoing support to address incidents, near misses and hazards reported across our stores, DC and Support Office Take an active role in gathering and analysing statistical data to support and advance safety and wellbeing goals Actively engage and build relationships with the WHS Manager, Brokers, Insurers and other relevant parties Assist the WHS Manager in the development, implementation and maintenance of WHS policies, procedures and the wellbeing calendar Assist the HR team in handling non-work-related injuries About you Experience implementing and overseeing WHS within a fast-paced Retail or Hospitality environment An excellent understanding of Australian workers' compensation and safe work legislation, across all states Outstanding interpersonal skills that enable engaging internal and external stakeholder communication Knowledgeable in interpreting medical and legal reports High levels of experience with Excell Strong analytical and reporting skills About us With more than 290+ stores and 2500+ employees nationally and a brand-new state-of-the-art distribution centre, we are Australia's leading retailer and wholesaler of fashion and comfort footwear, owning and operating some of Australia's most iconic brands including Bobux, The Trybe, Midas, Mollini, Cinori, Mathers, Williams, Diana Ferrari, and Australia's largest online footwear retailer, Styletread!
