Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Practice Assistant to join our Melbourne office to support lawyers and other staff through the performance of administrative and sales tasks. Your focus will be to deliver this support with your proactive, self-driven and conscientious working style. You are highly motivated with a desire to exceed expectations. Responsibilities Develop and execute growth plans and strategies with new and existing customers. Identify and secure new business opportunities. Provide on-the-ground support to partners, lawyers, the practice assistant, and other staff to ensure the efficient functioning of the firm. Assist with the management and coordination of the lawyers. Assist with the preparation of sensitive and confidential documentation such as correspondence, court documents, and presentations. Build a rapport and strong relationships with our clients and be a knowledgeable first point of contact. Open and close files in a time-sensitive manner. Assist in the preparation of administrative documents. Assist with the collation of monthly reporting for various clients and adhere to client-specific requirements. Administrative duties including filing and other ad hoc duties as required. Capabilities Exceptional leadership and customer relationship skills. Proven skills in negotiation and influencing. Strong written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail. Experience handling and directing incoming inquiries. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
