About the role: We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and results driven full time Sanitation Manager to join our team, overseeing our cleaning operations at a leading food manufacturer. A knowledge of cleaning delivery services within the food production industry, including high and low risks is desirable. In this hands-on largely autonomous role, you will be encouraged to take pride in your work and be committed to working to a high level of safety, delivering exceptional cleaning services based on our award-winning standards and our client needs. Key Responsibilities: Ensure all site cleaning activities are completed in accordance with company standards, schedules, timeframes and sanitary/food hygiene control practices. You will need to be hands on in the cleaning process as well as coaching, monitoring and guiding team members in operational requirements to maintain and adhere to HACCP and WH&S requirements. You will need to drive productivity and attend, manage and follow up on all quality control and complaint handling processes with team members and clients, in line with Challenger policies and procedures. Ensure the effective storage, usage and handling of chemicals is completed in accordance with SDS and WHS requirements and company policies and procedures. Administrative duties including rosters, timesheets, leave approvals and co-ordination, recording of incidents, conducting toolbox talks, QA reporting, stock ordering and delivery. About You: We are looking for someone who has the following qualifications: Proven experience in a similar role as a hands on site cleaning supervisor or manager. Understanding and knowledge of coaching, mentoring and leading a team. Previous experience working in a role that requires you to prioritise tasks and ensure essential responsibilities are completed within required times. Demonstrated experience motivating your team to achieve the highest standards in a collegial and collaborative environment. A solid understanding of HACCP, WHS obligations and safe work practices associated with food hygiene, manual handling, chemical handling and usage.
