We provide transport infrastructure solutions for projects across Queensland. We are a multi-disciplined organisation with accreditation to national and international standards. RoadTek has approximately 1350 FTE, the workforce is made up of a mix of blue-collar and white-collar employees who deliver and maintain numerous projects that make up the state's extensive road and bridge network. The Senior Advisor (Workforce) will work within the Workforce team to deliver practical business outcomes to RoadTek's state-wide operations including: Provide high-level specialist ER advice and support to RoadTek managers and leaders. Provide high-level advice and support on complex and non-complex case management matters. Lead HR investigations and reviews into a range of complex and sensitive IR and case matters. Some of your accountabilities will include: Lead end-to-end case management matters, including leading investigations, internal enquiries, and recommendations to the delegate. Lead the investigation of industrial relations queries and reviews and provide high-level advice to the team and RoadTek leadership. Write and/or review complex reports, briefing notes, submissions, and where required lead presentations to the business on HR matters. While there are no mandatory requirements for the role, to be successful you will need: Demonstrated experience in a similar Human Resources role. The ability to work under pressure in an environment of competing priorities and deadlines. The capability to prioritise workloads and identify urgent tasks for immediate action. Excellent communication skills to articulate to a diverse audience in a clear, concise, and convincing manner. The ability to develop, maintain and foster strong relationships and partnerships with internal clients and external stakeholders and providers, with a focus on two-way communication.
