Senior Analyst, Analytics Job number: 798590 Primary position location: VIC- Melbourne CBD Category: Banking & Financial Services, Business Analysis, Data & Analytics Work type: Permanent Full time Closing at: Feb 16 2025 at 23:55 AEDT Responsibilities: Use your consultative mindset and approach to be the bridge between our data team and the business Join a new squad focused on creating data-driven solutions aligned to Personal Bank’s highest priority strategic initiatives Partner with colleagues across Data and Analytics to ensure efficient and effective delivery of priority initiatives and use cases for Business Stakeholders Partner with Business Stakeholders to understand use case requirements and to help identify opportunities to deliver measurable business value Develop detailed artefacts documenting functional and non-functional requirements Provide discipline, rigor and technical skills to the requirements definition and validation process Act as an interface between Business Stakeholders, Data & Analytics, Data Platforms, Technology (Developers, Testers and Support team members) and platform vendors to ensure that the needs of the business are met Develop relevant documentation across the use case lifecycle including scope, plans, status update, backlogs, and risks/issues as required Summarise data and prepare presentations for senior stakeholders across Business and Data domains Constantly seek opportunities to improve the overall delivery process What you will bring: Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a complex business setting, ideally as a Technical/Data-focussed Business Analyst that shapes and elaborates data requirements Demonstrated capability in framing and delivering analysis that brings data-driven insights to life Demonstrated experience in delivering business artefacts, including project deliverables and business functional documents Exceptional problem-solving skills, communication skills and listening ability Demonstrated, strong experience managing and working with stakeholders, being able to manage needs and expectations Strong experience across Agile tools, techniques, and behaviours Ideally you will have experience across banking/financial services industry A diverse and inclusive workplace works better for everyone We know that our people make us who we are.
