Country Australia Working Schedule Full-Time Work Arrangement Hybrid Relocation Assistance Available No Posted Date 23-Jan-2025 Job ID 5689 Description and Requirements MetLife is looking for a Senior Analyst within the Business Analytics Insights & Review team with well-developed skills in audit, data analysis (preferably in Alteryx, SQL, Qlik or Tableau), and report writing. This role is responsible for the execution and reporting of the Group Insurance analytics and audit across the Industry fund business. It offers a rare opportunity to work in a leading life insurance company and develop data analytics and audit skills together with in-depth knowledge of life insurance products and administration. Review policy documentation and collaborate with relevant relationship managers, pricing actuaries and product managers to thoroughly understand insurance product design. Assist the manager to identify the key risks with the insurance arrangements to be audited based on understanding of the insurance product design. Build data analytics models to perform preliminary review of the arrangements based on the risks identified for that fund and its product design. Perform comprehensive audit of group insurance administrative activities. Draft audit report and follow-up with the closure of audit findings. Assist in performing financial and business analytics of the Insurance business. Other ad-hoc analytics for Insurance business. Skills & Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in external or internal audit. Experience in a data analysis role preferred. Data analysis skills including managing large data sets and advanced Excel skills. Research skills, critical thinking and an analytical mindset. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally. SQL, Alteryx, Qlik, Tableau, and/or other coding experience preferable. Qualification Required: Commerce or Business degree majoring in Accounting. CA/CPA qualified (or currently pursuing) preferable. Key Business Relationships: Superannuation administrators, reinsurers and group schemes. Key stakeholders in Operations, Distribution, Pricing, Product, Risk and Finance.
