Senior Application Support Engineer Position Permanent and contract positions available. Hybrid working arrangements. Our Client This team is a fast-paced, outcome-driven team. This role will focus on ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of our production systems, applications, and infrastructure. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, business analysts, and end users. Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day support for the Murex platform, including troubleshooting and resolving incidents across various Murex modules (e.g., trading, risk, PnL, and settlements). Manage and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance. Provide subject matter expertise in Murex FX modules, especially in configuration, trade lifecycle management, and risk management processes. Perform root cause analysis of system issues and work with development teams for resolution or enhancement requests. Maintain and optimize Murex performance, including database performance, application logs, and system integration. Key Skills: Murex Platform Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Murex platform, particularly in FX modules (Front Office, Back Office, and Risk Management). Familiarity with database management (e.g., Oracle, SQL) and scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python). Knowledge of financial products and trading lifecycle (e.g., derivatives, fixed income, equities). Strong experience in handling production incidents, system monitoring, and performance tuning.
