Senior Business Management Lead | Strategy & Operations Join our newly created Strategic Operational Transformation function in Macquarie’s Commodities and Global Markets division. As a senior leader in the Strategic Operational Transformation function, you will be tasked with managing critical financial and operational deliverables. You’ll play a pivotal part in executing our strategic agenda working across multiple business and operational streams to drive meaningful change. You will be responsible for setting up a governance framework at the program level and establish a total cost of ownership across streams to improve decision, transparency and tracking performance against our strategic goals. As a strategic and detail-oriented professional, you will lead executive reporting and stakeholder management for our transformation initiatives. Ensuring high-quality, data-driven insights in executive reports, providing clarity on progress and strategic positioning. Acting as the primary liaison between the Transformation Office and key stakeholders—including the COO, CFO, and business heads—you will facilitate structured change communications, ensuring alignment and understanding of strategic priorities across the organisation. Partnering with operations, risk, finance, and technology teams, you will drive risk awareness and ensure seamless execution of transformation projects and ensure regulatory and compliance considerations are embedded as part of the strategic change. What you offer At least 10 years’ experience in Business Management, Strategy Execution, or Transformation roles, within a global investment bank or management consultancy, supporting large-scale change programs Ability to coordinate multiple assignments and work independently Ability to confidently deal with senior leaders with strong influencing and negotiation skills at all levels Ability to execute on strategy whilst maintaining a strong commercial lens on performance A collaborative ‘one team’ approach, building mutually beneficial partnerships and trust with stakeholders Operate with high degrees of autonomy and proactivity and manage ambiguity Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced business with changing needs, possessing critical problem-solving abilities and demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.
