Join us as the Senior Coordinator – Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and take on a vital leadership role within the College of Business and Law. As the Senior Coordinator - WIL, you’ll play a key role in the enhancement of the student experience for College of Business and Law students relating to work integrated learning within the classroom and the workplace. This role will see you develop highly effective working relationships with students, industry and a wide range of College, University and external stakeholders to ensure that existing and new industry, engagement and student mobility opportunities are identified, maximised, developed and supported, and that students are fully aware of the options available to them throughout their studies. You'll be providing expert advice and guidance to staff and students, oversee due diligence, manage and improve processes relating to WIL courses and programs, and act as a central contact point for other areas within the college including schools, and industry contacts providing internships and projects for students. In this position, you will lead a team of six professionals dedicated to fostering meaningful connections between students, industry, and the academic community. As a people manager, you will inspire, develop, and empower your team to deliver exceptional outcomes, ensuring high-quality support and services for students, staff, and industry partners. About You You are a positive and solutions-focused leader with a strong background in Work Integrated Learning (WIL), student engagement programs, or similar initiatives. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about fostering industry connections that enhance student learning and employability. To be successful in this role, you will have: Proven leadership experience , with the ability to manage, develop, and inspire a high-performing team to deliver exceptional student and industry engagement outcomes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to manage complex enquiries and issues related to student and industry engagement in WIL, including conducting due diligence on partnerships and successfully navigating potential risks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills , including the ability to prepare reports, deliver presentations, and develop communication strategies that effectively inform students and stakeholders about available opportunities and services. Demonstrated experience in leading new and innovative ways of working , with a commitment to creating a culture of continuous improvement. A track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including students, industry partners, and internal teams, to identify and maximise engagement opportunities. Ability to develop and implement initiatives that enhance student opportunities and align with the College’s strategic goals, including assessing and adapting processes to meet changing needs. Strong experience in adapting to changing software , digital technology, and service delivery requirements, with the ability to champion the implementation of new technology and forward-thinking solutions.
