As the Correspondence System Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and developing HBF's correspondence system to support our members effectively. About the role Gain a thorough and in-depth understanding of the end-to-end CCM solution. Support and provide input into HBF’s correspondence solution through understanding the capability of the correspondence management tool. Review, evaluate, and assess business requirements to gain a detailed understanding of required changes to HBF correspondences. Develop frontend changes using common object-oriented, Groovy language-based programming, and HTML and/or CSS concepts. Design and author correspondence by integrating content – text and images, layout, and business rules using the correspondence management tool. Prepare test plans, test data, and execute required testing on the developed changes to ensure alignment with business requirements. Manage defects through system and user acceptance testing, determining the cause of defects through investigation and liaising with other teams as necessary. Monitor, investigate, and fix any CCM system-based production issues within agreed SLAs. Liaise with business users directly regarding any correspondence-based queries or concerns. Conduct regular auditing of existing correspondences to maintain consistency and verify integrity. About you At least 2 years’ experience in a technology development or support capacity responsible for deliverables in a continuous integration practice model. Previous exposure and understanding of the route to live of software changes into the production environment within a software development lifecycle framework. Basic skills in Java language and/or object-oriented based scripting; and XML scripting. Exposure to HTML and CSS development. Ability to solve problems through reading application logs, investigation, and resolution of defects/production issues. Well-developed analytical skills, with the ability to understand business needs, develop solutions, anticipate risks, and make appropriate recommendations. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey key information, influence stakeholders, and develop and maintain productive stakeholder relationships. Demonstrated skills in planning, organising, coordinating, and prioritising work to meet deadlines and expectations. Ability and willingness to respond positively to continuous change on an organisational and individual level. Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and the maintenance of a supportive work environment.
