Job Description Your role as a Senior Finance Manager As the Senior Finance Manager, you are a key leader within Centacare’s Finance team. You will oversee financial operations, maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with taxation and regulatory standards, and provide strategic support for budgeting and forecasting. You will also play a leadership role in mentoring your team and fostering their professional growth. This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Key accountabilities include: Strategic Financial Management Financial Operations and Reporting / Process Improvement Budgeting and Forecasting Audit and Compliance / Risk Management Stakeholder Engagement Cash Flow and Asset Management Desired Skills and Experience What you’ll bring Education: Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or Accountancy. Professional Membership : Current membership with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) or Certified Practicing Accountants (CPA). Technical Skills: Proficiency in analytical tools, financial management software, and the MS Office suite. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth. Integrity: High level of maturity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across all levels of the organisation. Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork: Demonstrated capacity to contribute to a cohesive, supportive team environment.
