We are seeking an experienced Senior Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Officer to join the Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA). This role is required to work collaboratively to support a multi-disciplinary team incorporating legal, governance, compliance, risk, privacy, board secretariat and facilities services.This position is a permanent, full-time role and is located in the Brisbane CBD with generous flexible working arrangements.The role of Senior GRC Officer will operate within the Financial and Assurance Services division of the RTA to implement and oversee the RTA's governance, risk and compliance frameworks, ensuring the RTA's adherence to both external regulations and internal policies.To Be Successful You Will Need A proven track record managing governance, risk and/or compliance frameworks Previous experience conducting Business Continuity Management tasks Demonstrated experience managing privacy frameworks including conducting privacy breach assessments Experience supporting an internal audit function including working with independent assurance providers Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks Proven capability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Experience preparing documentation and reporting for Board and Audit and Risk Committees.
