Senior Legal Counsel - Corporate/ M&A - Top ASX Listed Organisation Join this top ASX-listed financial services organisation currently undergoing a rapid growth phase. With a dynamic leadership team, we are looking for ambitious, bright lawyers with strong law firm backgrounds who are looking to develop their in-house legal careers.This role will report directly into the General Counsel & Company Secretary and will provide expert legal advice and solutions in a commercial context.Key Responsibilities: Negotiation and execution of all legal documentation relevant to the business, including in relation to acquisitions, commercial agreements, corporate transactions, and the establishment of new funds. Providing support on strategic M&A initiatives. Establishment of new entities. Liaise with external legal specialists to obtain additional legal advice where necessary. Assist in reviewing/approving fundraising disclosure documentation and the negotiation and administration of group financing arrangements and shareholders’ agreements. Monitor legislative changes ensuring that internal clients are kept informed of current, new or proposed legislation that affects business activities. The Successful Candidate: To be successful in this role you will need to have at least 2 years post-qualification experience in corporate M&A/ Corporate work gained at a top-tier law firm. Highly polished communication skills, both verbally and in written form. Enjoys collaborating with others. Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, decision making and negotiation skills.
