Senior Policy and Senior Project Officers Location: Perth Unit/Division: Department of Health > Clinical Leadership and Reform - Health Networks Work Type: Fixed Term - Full Time, Fixed Term - Part Time, Permanent - Full Time, Permanent - Part Time This is a recruitment pool for permanent or fixed-term full-time or part-time appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. About the roles: For this pool recruitment, we are seeking experienced, engaged and strategic Senior Policy and Senior Project Officers to support our Health Networks Directorate (HND) team to make a difference to the health and wellbeing of Western Australians. The following HND teams can utilise this pool recruitment for position/s: The Clinical Engagement Team (CEnT) provides policy and project support by collaborating with clinical areas to inform policy, patient safety and quality, and service planning initiatives. CEnT uses various methods focused on connecting key stakeholders to share knowledge and influence. CEnT is currently focused on innovative and efficient mechanisms for creating and capturing outcomes from two-way conversations in real time. The End of Life Care (EOLC) Team provides policy and project support for the delivery of Government priorities relating to voluntary assisted dying (VAD), palliative care and advance care planning. The EOLC Program provides the structure and opportunity for key stakeholders to come together to connect, share knowledge, and to improve the access, quality and integration of person-centred, sustainable and effective palliative care and end-of-life health systems and services. The Primary Care & Disability (PC&D) Team provides program and project support for the delivery of State and Commonwealth Government priorities relating to primary care and disability delivery and system partnerships, as well as the national reform agenda. The PC&D program provides the structure and opportunity for key State and Commonwealth stakeholders to come together to identify system priorities, and to improve access to a more connected and integrated primary healthcare system. The Consumer Engagement and Inclusion (CEI) Team provides strategic leadership to enable genuine engagement and partnership with consumers, carers and community to support quality, equitable and accessible health for all. The team develops and implements contemporary policy, strategies and projects that are person-centred and provide for positive changes. Policy areas include working with consumers and carers, patient reported measures, LGBTIQA+ health and cultural diversity.
