Based at our St Lucia campus About This Opportunity As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of Indigenous Engagement initiatives at the University. This role encompasses the end-to-end management of projects, including the implementation of the University's Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). Key responsibilities will include: Project Management & Coordination: Lead and manage project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This includes project planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and the selection and implementation of appropriate project methodologies. RAP Implementation & Oversight: Coordinate the implementation of UQ's Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), including stakeholder engagement, reporting to Reconciliation Australia, and ensuring alignment with University strategic priorities. This also involves managing the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Learning Plan. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Indigenous Engagement Division, Reconciliation Australia, and other relevant University units, to effectively deliver projects and initiatives. Administration & Reporting: Provide comprehensive project administration support, including budget management, reporting to key committees (e.g., RAPOC, Senate Committee for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion), and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures. About You The University of Queensland considers that being Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander is a genuine occupational requirement for this position under s25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991(Qld) and the filling of this position constitutes a special/equal opportunity measure under section 8(1) of the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (Cth).
