Senior Project Officer - Service Delivery Branch: Secondary Schools DHS & Post-School Pathways Division: Service Delivery - Statewide Services Salary: Level 6, $115,824 - $127,647 per annum (pro-rata) (PSCA 2024) This is a permanent full-time position commencing July 2025 Statewide Services provides the services and supports required by schools to enable student achievement, with a focus on those students and schools that need it most. It encompasses both school and system-facing service delivery. While it primarily exists to support schools, it also has an important system-facing role supporting strategy and policy development. Service Delivery is the key interface with schools. Its purpose is to plan, coordinate and deliver targeted services that support schools and regions to improve student achievement. The Secondary Schools, District High Schools and Post-School Pathways Directorate provides coordinated expertise to regions and secondary schools identified as requiring support. The Role If successful, you will assist in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs, projects, policies, procedures and guidelines. You will be required to conduct research and analysis of data and information to identify project effectiveness, issues and opportunities for continuous improvement and prepare briefings and discussion papers to senior management, committees and other interest groups. Success in this role requires exceptional analytical and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on preparing high-quality reports, correspondence, and responses. Collecting, analysing and interpreting data and other contextual information is essential, assisting in the planning and development of protocols and procedures. It is crucial that you can establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders as you will be working with other teams on shared priorities to deliver integrated services and support to schools, teachers and/or students.
