About The Role We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Research Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave starting in April 2025. Reporting to the General Manager of Strategy & Research, you will play a pivotal role in managing key components of our customer roadmap program. You will be responsible for overseeing core tracking and other strategic research work, alongside ad-hoc projects. Your expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methods will enable you to deliver actionable insights that drive real business change. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to lead a dynamic team, work collaboratively across functions, and shape customer-led thinking within the organization. You will have the chance to manage complex projects autonomously while mentoring junior researchers, ensuring the continued growth and development of your team. Responsibilities Include Oversee and manage the execution of key research programs (tracking and ad-hoc) end-to-end, from brief to final presentation. Lead projects with autonomy, including taking briefs, managing the research process, and delivering insightful reports. Design and implement research methodologies, ensuring the right approach for each project based on the brief. Provide coaching and support to Research Managers, guiding their professional development and leading performance reviews. Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate customer insights into strategic decision-making, driving customer-led thinking across the business. Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring that research findings are communicated effectively and aligned with business goals. Work closely with agency partners to manage the delivery of ad-hoc and tracking projects. Champion high standards for research quality, ensuring data integrity and attention to detail across all projects. Lead the design, analysis, and reporting of questionnaires, ensuring findings are communicated clearly and with actionable insights. About You Experience: At least 7 years of experience in research, with a strong focus on both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. You should have a track record of delivering business-critical insights that have influenced decision-making. Leadership: Proven experience in leading and mentoring a research team, providing guidance and support to junior researchers while driving performance excellence. Project Management: Strong end-to-end project management skills, able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and deliver high-quality results. Communication & Stakeholder Management: You are a natural communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships across teams and manage key stakeholders effectively. Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data integrity and quality in all research work. Analytical & Insightful: Strong analytical skills with an ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive change. Curiosity & Creativity: You approach problems with curiosity and creativity, never settling for the status quo and always seeking innovative solutions. Commercial Acumen: You are commercially savvy, focused on providing insights that drive business success and have a passion for creating real business impact through research.
